The Star Bulletin, Sunday, November 1, 1959. Gabriel Rodrigues Rites on Monday. Wailuku, Maui. Oct. 31 - Gabriel Nicholas Rodrigues, 62, died at his Wailuku home Friday. Friends may call at Norman's Mortuary in Wailuku Sunday night from 7 to 10. Mass will be sung Monday at 9 a.m. at St. Anthony Church in Wailuku followed by burial at the Makawao Veteran's Cemetery. A veteran of World War I, Mr. Rodrigues was the County park keeper at Wells Park. Surviving are three brothers, Manuel of Kuau, Alfonso of Makawao, Vincent of Haiku; five sisters, Mrs. Mary Andrade of Honolulu, Mrs. Bebiana Moniz of Wailuku, Mrs. Ludvina Morreira, Mrs. Rose Medeiros, Mrs. Bella Martin, all of Kula, and 42 nieces and nephews. |
