Amelia Silva Bost. SALISBURY - Amelia Silva Bost, 81, of Salisbury, died Saturday, March 17, 2007, at Rowan Regional Medical Center. Born in North Kona, Hawaii, Mrs. Bost was the daughter of the late Frank and Minnie Silva. Educated in the schools in Hawaii and also a graduate of St. Frances School of Nursing, she was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. She was a homemaker and would have been married 60 years on Aug. 9, 2007. Survivors include her husband, Marvin Franklin Bost; sons Donald Bost and wife Pat and Ronald Bost and wife Martha, both of Salisbury; daughter Carole Crater and husband Danny of Statesville; brothers Sil, Tony, Frank and Johnny Silva, all of Hawaii; sisters Carrie Nolriga and Jennie Jerusalem, both of Hawaii, and Isabelle Myers of Montana; five grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. Three brothers and three sisters preceded her in death.
Service: A funeral mass will be held Monday at 1 p.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Father John Putnam and Father James Ebright officiating. Burial will follow at Rowan Memorial Park. Visitation: The family will receive friends at Linn-Honeycutt Funeral Home in China Grove tonight from 7-8:30. Memorials may be made to Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 128 N.
