Catherine Morreira, 81, of Kula, died April 19, 2010, at her residence with hospice care. Visitation will begin at 9 a.m. Monday at Holy Ghost Church in Kula, with a Mass at 11 a.m. Luncheon will follow in the church hall. A private urn burial will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice Maui. Ballard Family Mortuary is assisting with the arrangements. Mrs. Morreira was born March 23, 1929, in Honolulu. She was a retired branch manager for American Savings & Loan. She is survived by her husband, Frank Morreira; two daughters, Stephanie Aveiro and Marylou (Gary) Green; two brothers, Lawrence Castro and Phillip Castro; and two sisters, Josephine Boteilho and Rosemarie Guido. |
