Frank Silva
Frank Silva, 97, of Kealakekua, died April 4, 2022 at his residence. Born Aprul 6, 1924, in Holualoa, he was a foreman for W.H. Greenwell Ranch, Ltd., and a member of St. John’s Catholic Church. Friends may call at 10 a.m. May 7 at St. Benedict’s Catholic Church in Honaunau for a service. The family requests casual attire. An urn burial will be held at 10 a.m. May 9 at Kona Memorial Park. He is survived by sons, Frank (Carmen) Silva of Kealakehe, Stephen (Berta) Duarte of Maui and Richard Tavares of Kailua-Kona; hanai daughter, Lokela Medeiros of Hilo; 22 grandchildren; 71 great-grandchildren; 38 great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
