Extract translated from Portuguese: On the twenty seventh day of February of the year one thousand eight hundred and fifty, I, padre Carolos Borromeo de Freitas, vicar of this in this church of São Braz of Arco da Calheta, [untranslated] with all the proper papers, and with no civil nor canonical impediments, have married Antonio da Silva das Fontes, widower of Izabel da Costa and son of Joao da Silva do Pumat and his wife Joanna de Jezus, deceased residents of Pinheiro. With Maria de Jezus, daughter of Francisco Cabral Sabola, deceased, and his wife Francisca de Jezus, native of this parish and residents of Lombada do Loreto. The witnesses were Antonio Rodriguez [illegible] and Manoel Cabral who are my personal acquaintences.
